Publié le 24 February 2021

We are looking for an individual with regulatory experience for a 14 month contract position in the role of Manager of Governance & Operations. The contract will begin mid to end of May 2021.

Working closely with the Registrar & Executive Director, this person will lead in the development of governance and operational policy and provide support to Council and committees, human resources, and lead in special projects. We are looking for someone who thrives in an autonomous role and has a deep understanding of governance and organizational operations.

This is a critical position within the organization for a self-driven individual who will work under the direction of the Registrar & ED to ensure that the College continues to operate at a high level in keeping with its regulatory obligations and strategic objectives. We are seeking an energetic Manager of Governance and Operations who is collaborative, proactive and efficient; someone who excels at communications with team members and a variety of other stakeholders, and who can ensure that special projects are delivered on time with all requirements satisfied. Our ideal candidate will be personable, flexible and committed to regulation. A good sense of humour won’t hurt, either.

Full-Time Position

This is a full-time, 14-month contract position working from a home office until the College resumes onsite operations in the Toronto office. The successful applicant will be part of a dedicated team that embodies the College’s mission:
“The College of Dietitians of Ontario regulates dietitians for public protection.”

Minimum of Five Years’ Experience in The Regulatory Environment

This is a great opportunity for someone who will thrive off of working with the rest of staff, Council and committee members to help shape this new role. If you have a minimum of five years’ experience in the regulatory environment and would like to be part of a high-performance organization with a culture of mutual respect, diversity, collaboration, and continuous quality improvement, we encourage you to apply for the position.

Applications will be accepted until March 26, 2021. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume before the deadline.

As an employer committed to the principles of employment equity, we encourage applications from all persons including Black, Indigenous and people of colour, persons with disabilities, and persons of all sexual orientation or gender identity. We are committed to providing an inclusive and barrier free experience to applicants with accessibility needs in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code (2015) and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). To request accommodation during the recruitment process, please indicate this in your email.
While we thank all candidates for their interest, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
