Are you a dietitian working with clients living with diabetes? Join us for our next Regulatory (Reg Talks) Webinar!

The College recently developed a Position Statement and Practice Guidelines for dietitians who are providing insulin dose adjustments.

The College’s Practice Advisory Service will be holding a one-hour regulatory (“Reg Talks”) webinar about the Position and Practice Guidelines. This will be a free online session providing dietitians with an opportunity for shared dialogue with the Professional Practice Program.

We invite members and students to attend the Reg Talks webinar. We hope you will join us online!

We will examine:

  • Regulatory and professional obligations when practicing through delegation of controlled acts
  • Overview of the Position Statement (College’s interpretation of insulin dose adjustments in dietetic practice) and Practice Guidelines (practice guidelines to assist dietitians, their clients, colleagues, and employers with suggested best practices for insulin dose adjustments from a regulatory perspective)
  • Practice Scenarios informed by your calls and emails to the Practice Advisory Service
  • Question & Answer Period

Wednesday, June 22nd from 11:00-12:00 p.m. OR
Thursday, June 23rd from 12:00-1:00 p.m.
A recording will be shared if you cannot make it or if the sessions are full!

Please register early if interested. We will also publish a copy of the recording on our website. The webinar will be provided in English.
  • Please register for only one session of your choice.
  • Confirmation of your registration and the log in details will be sent to you by email.
