During its June 19-20 meeting, CDO’s Board of Directors approved an increase to the annual renewal fee from $667 to $674, an increase to registrants of one per cent ($7). This increase will serve to balance the need to maintain adequate resources for CDO to fulfill its regulatory mandate and strategic priorities while not imposing undue financial hardship on registrants. The Board reviews the fee annually and, when appropriate, the annual fee may be increased by no more than two per cent each year.
Historically, the College’s annual registration fees align with other colleges of similar size and activities, such as the number of complaints and discipline cases received annually.
