Public Consultations
The College regularly consults on new or proposed changes to Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Long-Term Care regulations, by-laws, professional practice standards and guidelines. Through our consultations, we strive to achieve transparent, evidence-informed and collaborative policy development for the regulation of the dietetic profession in Ontario.
You Are Invited To Provide Input
Your feedback helps us assess the issues we should examine throughout the review process and informs policy development. Feedback is solicited via anonymous surveys. All feedback is reviewed by the College prior to making any decisions regarding the final versions of the proposed changes to regulations, by-laws, standards or guideline documents. Feedback is considered in relation to the expectations of the profession and the College’s mandate to protect the public interest.
Ontario Health Regulators
Other Ontario health colleges also seek the views of the public, health professionals and other stakeholders for the development of policies, guidelines and other documents. The feedback helps us all to fulfil our mandate to protect the public. Access other public consultations here.
