Collaboration and Communication
Interprofessional care is the delivery of comprehensive health services by a team of health care providers who work collaboratively to deliver the best possbile care to clients. Collaborative care teams are increasingly recognized as a key factor in safe, effective and efficient health care. As registrants of interprofessional care teams, dietitians are expected to share their expertise and to practise collaboratively for safe, client-centred care.
